Title: Brand Director ~ Geneva ~ 10091
Reports to: Group Director or Client Services Manager or Director of Client Services
Salary: 110-130k CHF
The Definition of Brand Director:
A Brand Director (BD) must possess a strong understanding of The Agency and how to build leadership brands. He/she is the client contact for major strategic brand initiatives and must be able to embrace brand character and marketing strategy, while providing innovative and challenging solutions and perspectives. Ultimately, a BD should be a key brand resource for the client and be involved in many aspects of the business beyond design. He/she must work easily with senior management and be able to represent The Agency globally.
As members of management, a BD is expected to motivate, coach and teach the internal team to deliver creative excellence. BD may also have people
management responsibilities. In this role, he/she must be able to grow the individual in his/her career and grow the responsibility of the position. He/she must assess skill levels of direct reports and ensure Personal Development Plans have alignment with the company’s mission, goals, policies, and procedures.
The Requirements Specific to the Brand Director Position:
1. Anticipate business segment needs and align resources to grow the business.
2. Audit brand category and analyse industry trends.
3. Contribute to the client’s marketing plans and business reviews.
4. Build case studies to document The Agency’s work and to be used as sales tools.
5. Articulate and promote The Agency’s core competencies.
6. Develop annual sales budgets for business segments.
7. Recruit and train new Client Service employees.
8. Understand The Agency processes, policies, and product well enough to train direct reports or coordinate a training contact.
9. Provide consultancy to the Group Director, Manager of Client Services, and the Director of Client Services.
10. Be proficient in the use of The Agency’s software programs, and server and navigation protocols.
11. Meet The Agency’s “Leadership Requirements for Managers.”
12. Understand and emulate the The Agency Owner’s Guide.
