Title: Creative Communications Manager ~ London ~ 10073
Salary approx. 60k
Purpose of role:
To develop and manage the delivery of creatively appealing and commercially viable communication material which is to brief, on time and within budget.
Key Job Accountabilities:
• Develop effective working relationships with the Category Directors and Managers to ensure that verbal and written briefs are translated into communications that are in line with brand and creative strategy / direction
• Working with the Design Director to contribute to creative strategy and translate overall creative direction into all communications
• Provide Creative direction for projects and effectively manage the team of designers in delivering communication material to ensure project completion on time, to brief and within budget
• Develop the visual guidelines and promotional visuals for customer activities (mandatory and library), design promotion concepts and create designs ready for print
• Develop and design all Brand image related visuals
• Commission and brief and manage third party resource where required to help produce creative materials

Position Description:
• To actively engage with Company and Franchised Markets
• Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards of the client including minimising the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and responsible for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers
• Champions, supports and participates in the clients Values and Campaigns.
Personal requirements for role
Experience:
• Significant experience in developing commercially viable creative concepts and delivering to brief in a design studio environment
• Significant client-facing experience, pitching, presenting and developing client relationships
• Significant experience in managing a design team and providing creative/art direction, and allocating resource effectively
• Experience of working to CPAs
• In-depth knowledge and experience of marketing communications and delivering creative promotions in retail environment
Qualifications:
• BA in Graphic Design/Related or equivalent
Competencies required:
• Excellent Mac skills, fully conversant with Illustrator, Photoshop (not necessarily to visualising /retouching standard) and InDesign
• Excellent creative crafting skills – ideas, typology, layout, colour, composition, materials etc
• Good knowledge of artwork/repro/print/production/finishing processes where necessary
• Ability to contribute to creative strategy
• In-depth understanding of the global/multi-channel influences on marketing communications and international brand marketing
• Good understanding of the C&T sector
• Good understanding/appreciation of other elements of the retail marketing mix
• Excellent communication skills and experience on working with cross-functional teams in brief development and translation to concept
• Excellent ability to present to all levels of the organisation and communicate creative work to cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
• Excellent attention to detail
