The Managing Creative Director represents the most senior level leadership of Agency’s newly established office in Singapore and the lead role in our efforts in strategic brand design across Asia. Responsibilities include oversight of day-to-day operations, the ability to deliver strategic and creative leadership to clients, the management and mentorship of staff on the ground as well as being the overall ambassador for the Agency brand in the region.
In addition to the creative oversight of our efforts across a variety of markets throughout Asia, this position is fundamental to our ongoing growth of Agency’s presence in the region. Reporting directly to the President of Agency International on issues relative to P&L performance, overall office capability and the identification and securing of additional staff in Singapore, he/she will also work cooperatively with other senior level management across the globe in delivering on global brand equity objectives while delivering cultural relevance.
As the Managing Creative Director responsible for Agency’s strategic creative product in Asia, this position is responsible for understanding the role of insight and emotion in the interdisciplinary brand building practices of strategy, design and innovation. He/she will be responsible for the seamless integration of our efforts between Agency offices in Singapore and Guangzhou, as well as effective integration across international brand teams throughout Europe and North America.
The Managing Creative Director is responsible for building and maintaining positive professional relationships with clients, client prospects, suppliers, related associations and the community. He/She inspires the creative team and ensures the highest standard of creative excellence plus supports Agency principles of career and skill growth, while seeking challenging, stimulating opportunities for team members.
In addition to managing the overall office and overseeing our strategic creative product, the Managing Creative Director also serves to promote our efforts within existing clients, leading the development of the creative vision for the brand(s) including presence at key client meetings with senior level client stakeholders, and supports proactive efforts in obtaining a diverse caseload of new multi-national, regional and local clients in Asia.

PREREQUISITES:
- 4-year university degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent education or experience.
- 3+ years of management experience, including acting as a team leader, supervising staff, accountable for P&L, and new business development.
- 7-12 yrs of package design experience
- Ability to execute design solutions in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills; the ability to present both internally and externally.
- Capable of delivering a confident, compelling presentation.
- Fluency in English
